What your signature means
By signing, you support construction of a sanitary sewer collection system to serve your property and ask Pulaski Township to create a special assessment district to fund the improvements under Michigan Public Act 188 of 1954.
You also acknowledge the estimates and responsibilities described in the petition: an initial user fee of $55 per month per residential equivalent unit (REU), an estimated benefit assessment of $23,500 or less per REU, and an estimated parcel assessment of $4,500 or less per parcel—a total estimated special assessment of $28,000 or less for a single-family home. Owners would also pay to abandon their septic system and connect their home to the sewer lead at the street.
These are preliminary estimates, subject to revision and Township approval. Signing supports the project and the assessment process; it does not establish the final charges or guarantee construction. Read your entire petition before signing.
Who can sign? Record property owners. All owners listed on a joint deed must sign; for land-contract property, both the deed holders and purchasers must sign. Sign exactly as your name appears on the deed or land contract. Contact the Township if your owner information needs correction.
